Antônio Abelém

He holds a PhD in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). He is a professor at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). He has been part of the Postgraduate Program in Computer Science of this institution since its creation. He is an associate and adviser to the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). He serves as a member of the program committee and reviewer of national and international conferences, workshops and periodicals. He is a member of the IEEE and a representative of UFPA at the National Computer Networks Laboratory (LARC). Coordinates the Research Group on Computer Networks and Multimedia Communication - GERCOM (http://www.gercom.ufpa.br/) (registered with cnpq), from which it coordinates and participates in several research and technological development projects regionally, nationally and internationally. He held the position of CEO of the Guamá Science and Technology Park (Guamá PCT), from its opening in 2010 until Dec / 2018, being one of those responsible for structuring, implementing and managing the park. It contributes to the creation and structuring of the Pará innovation system, to encourage innovative entrepreneurship, the development of technology-based companies and, consequently, the sustainable development of the State of Pará and the Amazon. He was one of the mentors and technical coordinator of the Belém Metropolitan Network project (MetroBel) and today he is the current administrative coordinator of this network. Operates in the areas of support systems for innovation and computer science, with an emphasis on computer networks, acting mainly on the following themes: internet of the future, software-defined networks, wireless networks, performance modeling and analysis, TCP / architecture IP, multicast, Quality of Service (QoS), Quality of Experience (QoE), security and innovation management.


Eduardo Coelho Cerqueira

Graduated Technologist in Data Processing from the University of the Amazon (2000), Master in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2003), PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Coimbra (2008) and post-doctorate in Computer Engineering from University of Coimbra (2009) and in Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. He was Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra until 2009 and is currently “Associate Professor I” at the Faculty of Computer and Telecommunications Engineering at the Institute of Technology at the Federal University of Pará. Eduardo has organized 4 international books, has 4 patents with registration international and more than 180 articles in national and international conferences, workshops and periodicals. He actively participates as president, guest editor, vice president, program committee member and reviewer of national and international conferences, workshops and periodicals. His interests are: Mobility, Multimedia, Quality of Experience, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing and Internet of the Future.


Denis Lima do Rosário

Graduated in Computer Engineer from Instituto de Estudos Superioriores da Amazônia (2007). In 2010 he obtained a master's degree in Automation and Systems Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with a sandwich at the CISTER Research Unit of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto in Portugal (2009). In 2014 he obtained the title of doctor in the Co-tutelage regime in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and in Computer Science from the University of Bern. And in 2015 he finished his postdoctoral degree in Computer Science at the Graduate Program in Computer Science at UFPA. He is currently Adjunct Professor 1 at the Faculty of Computing at the Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences at UFPA. It has been conducting research focused on the area of ​​wireless data communication, data collection and dissemination in various sectors of society, mainly in the area of ​​vehicular networks. Denis has experience in national and international projects. Denis is coordinating a research project approved in the so-called Universal MCTI / CNPQ 01/2016, as well as a Research & Development project by Companhia de Eletricidade do Amapá (CEA). With regard to scientific production, Denis is the author and co-author of more than seventy articles published in annals of national and international conferences and periodicals of great reputation. His research interests are: Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing, Urban Computing, Quality of Service, Quality of Experience, mobility and multimedia.
